Noh, established between the Nanbokucho era (1336 a.d.) and the Muromachi era (1392 a.d.) by the father and son duo of Kanami and Zeami, flourished as a ceremonial art in the Edo period (1600 a.d.), and was enjoyed by the Daimyo and Samurai.
